Here are the roughs for about half of the concert cutaways. The purpose with these is so I can get the timing worked out with a sketch that has the proportions of the character. Now I can go in and draw the character over this rough animation.
This one I'm planning on having MGK's red laces come in and tie around Rip. It's more just a reference to him and the lyrics, but if it seems like a dig on him let me know and I can change it. I'm a fan of the dude and I don't want to come across as rude in some way.
If there is something you're not feeling and want to me change, just let me know as soon as possible, it will save time down the road. The last one of these with just Rip will be the hook, then I'll go through and do Carl's. As I start to finish Carl's I'll start assembling these and put together an animatic with all the current assets to show the progress.
